there is a great article on instructables.com about building your own light pens cheap … they work awesome for light painting … I’ve five different colors.
Nice job though with the capture, shooting in the dark is tricky and always a crap shoot. I always find it useful to take a few “garbage” exposures to get it right and check the backgrounds etc.
