This is an image that I took by overlapping two images at the same time but still inside the camera. I did some minor light and color correction but no other work. I love my Camera! A new favorite picture. I took this a quick snapshot when I saw these amazing women walking down the sidewalk. Its wonderful to catch the moment with Grandma, Mom and daughter on a rainy afternoon.

Again from Eagle Rock, in Los Angeles, California. I look at this place and I think about the old Los Angeles, the kind that we think about when we watch old movies, sock hops and drive ins. I like this photo because of the color, the composition of the old lights and  the picture of Beyonce on the bilboard in the background. It just feels like L.A. to me.

It’s not my usual style of photo. I normally like to get a lot closer to what I’m shooting but after going through one of my favorite photoblogs Blue Jake, I decided to post one of these.   Blue Jake takes great shots of interesting places, from interesting vantages. Many of Blue Jake’s photos have an urban sensibility and so this photo is much different but I think that this is much more of a conscience effort to expand my style of photography. Let’s see what happens.
